Nigeria
Will you help us provide care and support for sick, abandoned and orphaned children in Nigeria? We are working with Heart of Gold Children’s Hospice in Lagos to support their residential home for children with special medical needs. Our ProjectHeart of Gold Children’s Hospice provides the first children's hospice and respite care facility in Nigeria. The facility opened in October 2003, in response to a steadily increasing number of sick children who have been abandoned or orphaned. The hospice provides respite support, palliative care (comfort and pain management) and end-of-life care for children with life-threatening and terminal illnesses. Support our 2009/2010 AppealWith your support, we hope to raise enough money to pay for a 15-seater, wheelchair friendly minibus to donate to the Heart of Gold Children’s Hospice.
